healthy habits for personal growth
so recently I've been paying a bit more attention to my habits, after all we are creatures of habit. habits can either make or break you in some aspects of your daily. for a new behavior to become habitual it takes anywhere somewhere around 21 days roughly. it takes 66 days for a behavior to become automatic depending on the habit. so, I thought to myself yes! I'm always down for personal growth involving healthy habits. I do recall starting to drink 16 ounces of water first thing in the morning it took about 2 weeks for it to become routine, now it's very much habitual and I don't even think about it anymore.
During this holiday season, as we start a new year less than 2 months away. I'd like to focus on some new healthy habits and go from there. I've chosen a few ideas that can be a great starting point and will promote exercise, self-care and personal growth. If any of these tickle-your-fancy I'd love to hear which one you've chosen and the benefits you've experienced.

here's a lil'list of habits for personal growth:
Wake up earlier
Exercise regularly
Drink more water
Eat at least two healthy meals a day
Take deep breaths before responding when stressed out
Read 10 pages a day
Plan your week every Sunday
Keep only 1-3 tabs open on your computer
Craft a mission statement and look at it nightly
Get 7-9 hours of sleep every night
Follow a morning routine plan
Put your phone away during conversations
Take an evening walk
Drink warm lemon water when you wake up
Journal one line a day for every day of the year
Cook new recipes
Make an effort to do good deeds regularly
Repeat positive mantras at the start of your day
Prepare for your day the night before
Take a class just for fun
Make self-care your priority
Create a morning (or evening) ritual of meditation
Set clear boundaries with people in your life
Wake up without an alarm
Make an effort to hang out with friends more often
Put aside time daily for spiritual practices
Take a lesson away from each experience
Help those in need
Tackle the most important tasks of your day in the morning
Is there anything form this list that you'd like to try for the next 21 days? I'd love to hear your feedback in comments below.
Personally, I'm working on setting clear boundaries with people in my life. It's def a process for me, but I'm working on it. This isn't a 21 day habit, but I've already seen the benefits through certain interactions with others. I found that my energy was drained when interacting with others, and learning to not let them take my energy is def a process, but one that I'm happy to continue to fine tune.
I'm here for you, if you want to chat about your new habit up'd like to form for personal growth shoot me an email.
